Hackathon under way!

A group shot of CamBioHack 2018's participants

The 2nd Cambridge Bioinformatics Hackathon kicked off yesterday - 10th December 2018 - with a buzz and excitement about collaborative projects solving biological problems through computation, bioinformatics, machine learning, AI, big data and more. It is great to see so many participants coming together, from industry and academia, including teams from our sponsors Sagentia and Cambridge Cancer Genomics, as well as individuals working on projects, offering advice and expertise and seeking help.

The slightly chilly but inspiring venue of the Centre for Computing History was soon warmed up by the exciting work under way - and there is always a quick retro computer game to play during a break!
